SEQUENCES
mathematical operations
Sequences are formed by applying a mathematical operation to each number (either addition, subtraction, multiplication or division)
1, 3, 5, 7, 9 (add 2 to each number)
50, 45, 40, 35 (subtract 5 from each number)
2, 4, 8, 16, 32 (multiply by 2)
1000, 100, 10 (divide by 10)

special types of numbers
Some sequences are formed based on special TYPES OF NUMBERS that are formed in a special way. These include Square Numbers, Triangular Numbers, Prime Numbers, Cubed Numbers.
