Length indicates the distance from one point to another.
Older units of length which were used many years ago and still used by some countries today including The Bahamas (known as IMPERIAL UNITS) include inch, foot, yard, mile.
Newer units of length (known as the METRIC SYSTEM) include millimeter (mm), centimeter (cm), meter (m) and kilometer (km).

To convert FEET to INCHES:
Multiply the number of feet by 12. To convert INCHES to FEET: Divide the number of inches by 12. To convert YARDS to FEET: Multiply the number of yards by 3. To convert YARDS to MILES: Divide the number of yards by 1760.
